Location: Rhinelander | The winds are down, but not flat, and the bite, according to the Pros we talked to this morning, should be good. Some felt the fish might be a little more tight lipped today after the cool front moves through, but still willing enough if one places the presentation at the right depth...which by all accounts is the key to getting the big girls VS. the average 3 to 4.5 pound fish. A couple of the Pros mentioned they had a 'special program' going, but due to the remaining day and position, were not yet willing to talk about it. Today should be a slug fest out there. Location: Rhinelander | Dean Arnoldussen and Kevin McQuoid made VERY impressive moves today. Dean weighed in an even 45 pounds, the largest bag of the event so far, and Kevin weighed 40-13 to take over second just three pounds back. The lack of wind today didn't seem to put the fish off at all. Nathan Seiferlein weighed in almost exactly what he did yesterday, at just over 38 pounds per day, to take over third almost 6 pounds back. David Kleszyk is in fourth, Greg Yarbrough fifth, Aaron Depinet sixth, David Kolb moved to seventh, Rich Zachowski made the cut in eighth, Don Loch holds down ninth, and Brian Bjorkman made the cut again rounding out the top ten. The top ten will leave tomorrow morning for the final day at 6:30 AM. The weather tomorrow looks good, winds SW at 14 and a scattered thunderstorm with a high of 72 degrees. It's going to be a shootout.
