When i turn on my stern hds unit only linked to structure scan my main hds on console cuts out, it is linked to same structure scan box, Also when i turn on my bow hds to structure and rear off the bow and console work great, but as soon as i turn the power button on the rear hds the main console regular sonar cuts out, any ideas

This sounds like a resistance or voltage issue.

You may need to check your power wires and grounds that go to everything, replace corroded wire, or large sum of extra wire balled up, make sure the connections are solid and going to the battery, not T'd off a switch. Grease all the connections with electrolyte (spark plug boot) lube.

does it come back on?? HDS is a battery sucking pig. I actually switched, put HDS up front with my old X15 on the dash now... problem, went away. direct wire to the battery, leave the dock fully charged...
