I just recently got a Lakemaster card for my lcx-37. When I try and start the unit up with the card in it, it freezes, and then powers down. Everything works fine without the card. Does anyone have any ideas?

Anyone in the Green Bay area have a card I can test out? I want to see if its the card or the unit that's causing a problem.

Try and do reset on your Lowrance unit, start with a soft then hard reset, just a reminder when you do a hard reset you will loose any stored data.

I tried both of those. My unit has the most current update on it as well. Still waiting on a response from Lakemaster, but I tried the card in a few different units (LCX112, LMS522c), and they were all the same, either wouldn't load anything (LMS522), or would freeze the units up (LCX112). I also took the chip into Gander Mountain, and it would not load on any of the HDS units.

Sounds like a corrupted card to me.
