I don't care what you think about bass fishing. This will be a cool event to attend. I will be there one of the days for sure, just to see what it is all about. Should be a good time.

One thing is for sure, they are all going to say they have never fished anywhere where they caught so many walleyes on accident.

Was really hoping for Bago just because it's closer and I signed up to be a Marshall for this event, but GB will certainly be fun and interesting. I only hope the wind lays down those days or it could make for some very interesting boat rides north for me!

If anyone else is doing the Marshal thing and wants to split a room, let me know. I already booked one just to make sure I have one before everyone else heads to town.

How did you sign up to be a marshall? That would be awesome.

The last event of the year is at Oneida lake (NY) about an hour from my house. have quite a few friends who do the marshal thing. my club does alot of the fish care.
If any of you guys want to be a marshal, I'd give the link above a whirl. never know. I've heard they do get some guys dropping out.
Any of you guys attending should have a great time!

Mark-They still have spots open for Marshalls, I got an e-mail this morning about it. I'm looking forward to it, from those that I've talked to who've done it, they said it's a great time and you get access to pretty much all the anglers at one time or another to ask questions, etc. You must be a B.A.S.S. member to do the Marshall thing, but otherwise no other requirements.

I will be there, as I have for BassFIRST for the last year and a half. Maybe we can catch up there, iceman?

Any other local guys heading up to Marshall or watch the weigh ins? I still think we should find a meeting locale each night to swap stories, grab some food and have a few beers.

Veteran walleye pro Pat Neu gives his take on this weeks Green Bay Challenge. Some interesting information Pat gives us!

I plan on going to the weigh-in.

Anybody know how fast they go through each angler?

I don't get done with work until 4:30 and won't get there until about 5.

What am I going to miss?

Unfortunately, unlike walleye weigh-ins, they will be done by 4:30. It takes Dave Mercer between an hour and fifteen and a hour and a half. They start weigh-in at 3:15 so by the time you make it on Thursday or Friday, they will be done more than likely. They move the guys through in a hurry, it's really nice!

Also, if you plan to go, make sure to get there a little early. Parking can be hectic, it's different at every event I've been too so just prepared to deal with traffic.

They put an awesome show on, best in the business. It's well worth coming imo!

How can I find the pairings. Looked at B.A.S.S. and couldn't find them. I know a Co up there. Just curious to see who he's with.
