More updates of lake cartography from Navionics. Make sure you stop by Navionics.com and see if your chip qualifies for the Freshest Data program. This also another great reason to go with Navionics if you are looking for a mapping chip for your sonar. Here are a few examples.

Navionics has always provided good accurate info on their chips. The one big, big omission has been deep contour lines in the Great Lakes. Spot soundings on everything past 45' or so just leaves the whole salmon fishery out in the dark. The data is available, the "other" chip company has had it for years. Lowrance guys need deep data, hope somebody realizes this. Even with walleye, deep structure matters.

Frank what areas are you looking for? Navionics has added the Fish n Chips data to the Platinum Plus chips http://www.navionics.com//platinum-plus
