I'm just about finished packing for the weekend and I wanted to wish everyone here, along with their families, friends, and guests, a happy and safe Wisconsin gun deer hunt. I'll be in the Marquette/Adams County area and can be found out and about Saturday night in Westfield if anyone wants to stop out at a local pub for a post opening day cold one. Stay dry, as it looks like it's gonna be a wet one!!!

We are pretty well ready to rock here too. No packing, as I hunt out in back of my house known affectionately as Worrall's Hideout to the Muskie crowd traveling from other areas to fish up here.

Should be a great hunt this year with lots of deer and lots of tags. Post a picture on this thread of your buck, doe, or experience!! Easy to do, just click attach a file after posting, select the photo from a photo editng file, a memory card, your photo file, a cd, or other source. Keep the photo under 200kb by editing it in a photo program. If you have trouble doing that, send it to me at [email protected] and I will get the picture posted for you.

I'm off at high noon today. This promises to be an exciting year, as it will be Eric's first.

Have a safe, successful, and memorable hunt everybody!

Hunting Price County - home birth place of my 98 year old Grandma. Will be leaving soon and if the resort I'm staying had a telephone line, would probably bring my laptop to get my WalleyeFirst fix!

My hope is that all first time hunters get a deer, and all us old timers get a chance at a BIG BUCK!
