For me, I upgraded my trolling setup with new reels, and learned to tie my own harnesses.

Diawa SC17's
Really like these reels for trolling on Bago.
Plus, spooling up fresh line doesn't hurt the wallet as bad the SC27's.
Happy fishin to all

ANother toy I really liked was my Minn Kota Co Pilot. Neat toy if guiding from the back or middle of the boat!

Flare gun and a handheld marine radio. Every boat should have both.

Without a doubt, it would be my Lake Tamer Suspension Seats. They are a back saver, as the East PWT last year was about as wicked of water that anyone could possibly fish in. Dunkirk, with it's 10-12' swells, Port Clinton with 6-8' swells, and Bay de Noc with the big blow on Day 3 as examples. Just goes to show that if you're planning on fishing big water, you need these seats.
