There is a huge Storm Lure Auction going on. Wonder both what the person's reserve is, and how high this collection will pop.

To check it out, type, "Storm Lures Collection" in the search box on Ebay, and you will view it! This is exciting stuff!

The auction ended in the 800 dollar range without hitting the auctioner's reserve.

Being the inquisitive fella I am, sent a mail asking what his price is for the 385 mixed lot of old Storm lures.

$3500!

Not sure why anyone would be paying more than $5 dollars each for ANY old storm lure right now. Between the DAVE'S lures and the fact that Rapala is bringing back the original dj, there should be more than enough of these to go around.

I agree, glad I dumped mine when I did. Doubled my investment and bought a billion Reef Runners (I know, not a billion but that is what my wife says).

Funny thing, I sent the guy a return e-mail stating his price was way out of my league, and that will wait for the Rapala re-introduction. So he sends a mail back indicating he sold the works to someone in Japan...

So maybe these high prices for the old stuff will hold up. We will see!
