Have you wanted to get your kids involved in fishing or you wanted to learn the basics?
Angler Educator Greg Karch will be doing a Fishing Basics seminar at the Madison Fishing Expo on Saturday and Sunday. The seminar times are 10 AM and 2 PM. This seminar is great for the families and youth wanting to get into fishing or for the novice fisherman.
Here is what will be covered in the Fishing Basics seminar:
• Learn about safety while fishing
• Learn about Open and Closed Face Spinning combo’s
• Learn to cast with an Open and Closed Face Spinning combo’s
• Learn different presentations that catch fish and why
• Learn how to tie a Berkley Clinch Knot and Palomar Knot
• Learn how to identify the different types of fish
• Review different types of bait and fish they can catch
• AIS – Aquatic Invasive Species

Attend the clinic and if you are a youth you may go home with a Musky Fishouflage Shirt or fishing combo donated by the NPAA and Future Angler Foundation. There will be a limited number per seminar.

Thanks, Greg Karch
