Location: Essexville, MI./Saginaw Bay. | Just recieved my new Cabela's Tackle Shop Pike and Walleye edition catalog, along with the spring catalog. Looked it over better than the aniversary editon of Playboy. Theres a few good deals and some new colors of my favorite specialty lures in there as well. I always see many posts per year asking about good walleye trolling combos for guys with a regular budget. Two great deals on page 11 of this catalog.
Daiwa Sealine SG27 Counter Reels combined with Depthmaster rods starting at $99.94. And Daiwa Accudepth 27LC reels combined with Depthmaster rods starting at $64.96 seems likes a combo and a decent deal for guys just starting out and not wanting to spend an arm and a leg.
Also scoped out the new Ka'Boom Nitro Shiners and Winning Streaks with their new colors. Glad to see Dave incorporated some of my old time favorite color patterns, barrowed from the old Thudersticks Storm line for the Nitro's. Really like the new Metallic Sunglasses color as well.
Also gotta give Rapala the thumbs-up for their new color Glass Purple Perch. I bought 3 of their newer colors last year and they all produced good while night trolling last year.
Earmarked a few other pages with stuff I know I'll get more of this season, but in general not a lot of newer stuff.

Location: Fond du Lac, WI | I got four of them at once delivered the day before yesterday: Tackle Shop Pike/Walleye catalog, Spring catalog, Flyfishing catalog and Clothing catalog. Now I just need to find the time to go through them. |
