If you have the chance to travel close to Packwaukee, Wisconsin - on the shores of Buffalo Lake - stop and visit Rodney's Trade House (located on Lake Street and easy to find). He offers live bait, ice fishing tackle (some really old stuff), and does a small business in guns and knives.
He also is a collector of sporting antiques which are displayed all over his joint. He and his friend George Smith purchased the Trap Tag Collection and Bear Trap from me, shown in the file linked below. I was kind enough to deliver them.
He might be a good match for tackle.com...

| Say Rick, that looks just like the trap I saw come out of a stream in Viet Nam, only that one had about a hundred pound cement block at the end of the chain and was on the edge of the drop off. I like the turkey photo also, it reminds me of opening day this last deer season. I one point, I had 43 turkeys within 50 yards of me while I was sitting in my stand! |
