| World Walleye Association, Winneconne Wisconsin
Our first Wisconsin tournament of the season is scheduled for April 14th with the take off out of Waterfront park in Winneconne. As most of you know, there's still ice on the lakes. We were in the area yesterday and the river in Winneconne is open with the current increasing daily. After talking to Critters and Doug at the Wolf River House, the general opinion is the river channel from New London to Oshkosh should be open any day now. The pre tournament meeting will be held at Critters in Winneconne at 5:30 pm on Saturday the 13th. Because of the cold spring and uncertainty with the ice, late entries will be accepted with no penalty at this meeting.
We are excited to bring the WWA series to Winneconne and hope that many of you will chose to join us for these events. Every tournament run by the WWA will qualify for the TWF side pots for the Cabela's NTC with a minimum of 10 teams entered. The Walleye Federation will also have a one time exception for late entries for both divisions 1st event ONLY.
