I use strictly power pro for jigging 10 lb test with 2 lb diameter...You can feel ANYTHING and it's tough...When the end of the year comes, I go spool to spool and use again from the other end...

Another vote for 10/2 Power Pro. For finesse fishing in clear water use a 2 foot leader of floro

Powr pro good stuff, been using it since it came out... 10/2 I've found to be a chore to tie knots for the visually challenged... Fireline got a good following...
Smallmouth guys here in NY use alot of Fireline/flouro leader set ups... I've played around with it a bit... use a tiny spro swivel...
good info here...

x3 for Fireline Crystal .I use 2lb test rated for crappies (2-3 lb crappies ) in clear water in Az. It pulls light wire Aberdeen hook right out of mesquite brush ,don't know what it is made of but it sure is strong stuff for 2lb test, 4lb for jigging up North In Minnesota , I fish LOTW a lot there 4 ib Crystal fireline works even landed a few 15 lb northerns on while jigging walleyes on 4 lb crystal. it also has Pretty good rock abrasion resistance ,although for rock abrasion and Zebbra or Quaggie mussels Seaguar Abrazx fluorocarbon 6-10 lb is the best line.

Another vote for Power Pro 10 pound test. I use both moss green when in clear water and the Hi-Vis yellow in the river. Always use a 4 foot floro leader tied with a blood knot.
