Location: Rhinelander | The field headed out this morning into a line of storms that were mainly North of the launch site under cloudy skies and brisk winds. Most feel the increasing winds will help the bite; no one seemed to be at all concerned about today's conditions. Cranks and spinners are of course the rule. The main discussion this morning was which to run first. The Pros who scored well yesterday were confident they would find fish, and only a little concerned about finding the quality fish they CRR'd yesterday. Day One leader Gary Parsons said in this mornings interview he was confident he'd find fish, and certain the new Berkley prototype crank he's using will get 'em in the net. The 'Eyes on the Bay are famous for moving far and fast, but conditions from yesterday seem to be stable enough to hold them in the areas they were yesterday. The weigh in begins at 5:15 this evening. WalleyeFIRST coverage is brought to you by Lund Boats and Mercury Outboards. Attachments ---------------- ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

Location: Rhinelander | The West winds flipped the water over on Bay of Green Bay and radically changed the bite, effecting almost two thirds of the field. Temps dropped as much as 15 degrees, and the fish moved. Ryan Dempsey and Adam Alder figured it out and CRR'd enough to own the top spot going into day three with 94.94 pounds. Schneider and Schertz held their own with 93.39, a statistical dead heat. Parsons and Hansen dropped to third 7 pounds back, but are confident the area they are fishing will kick out good fish tomorrow. Fourth is Schilling and Gatzke with 86.5...don't write off these guys...dynamite comes in smaller packages. The top five is rounded out by Chase parsons and Mike Vorderstrasse with 83.57, a nice move up the leader board. AIM Leaderboard Spinners and cranks ruled the day, of course, with success dependent mainly on finding the right fish under constantly changing conditions. Is the 3rd guy the co-angler, along with being a witness for the CPR process? Aim was in town once before, but I don't remember there being a 3 man crew in their boats during the tourney.
