I noticed the thread congratulating Jerry. BTW, Congrats. And not having the time to do the research, but I did look at the list of names that are "in".

My question is, What's the criteria for being invited to fish the PWT? Further more, now that a field has been selected and I see rookie marked next to a few. What are the qualifications needed to be selected as a rookie for upcoming years?

Just curious if there is a selection process that I haven't seen mentioned.

Thanks Jayman. The criteria: I think it has to do with the number of tournaments one has fished in the past, how long they've been involved in the tourney circuits, finishes in these tournies, have you fished PWT events before, how involved outside of fishing are you with benefits, stuff that would reflect positively on the PWT and the fisherman. This is just a guess by me, as I do not have any other information to go by. I sent in my fishing resume when I sent my application, so I think that may have helped me get in. As for rookies, I would call Jim Kalkofen and ask him this question. He's always treated me well and is willing to discuss things involving this.

I second Jerry's suggestion.

Call Jim Kalkofen, he will have the answers you look for. Also check out their web site, lot's of info there.

This promises to be a hot fishing season!!

I appreciate the responses. I'm sure Jim is plenty busy getting ready for this years season. Hopefully something will be published through out the year...If not, I'll call and ask.

Thanks.
