Do any of you have experiece fishing Anvil Lake, WI (10 mi. east of Eagle River)? If so, what have you found to be the most effective on this lake (clear water and limited weed growth)? I have fished it but with very limited success.

Whatchausin, It is an awesome early season eye lake, (I think this is where I really got hooked on Walleyes back in the 70's) I used to fish it right after first ice or about the second weekend sometimes the third but always did good. there are a bunch of 14.5" in there and an occassional 22-25, jig presentation on the points but don't get to close also drifting the 6-7' weeds.
Good Luck
