Walleye 1st, Walleye 2nd... they do not cooperate, forget them, they can be a corner item on my shopping list, if they neglect me and put down my attention why do I have to keep insisting LMAO. Ran back to the Yellow River spillway in Necedah last night, wanted to show that new honeyhole to my friend Scott, and also see if eventually I will get one of the marble eyed toothy critters we all chase. Got at the water 1815 or so and had a male on the 1st cast (usually a great sign you say...not for me with my luck ). All Redhorse and White Suckers after that - the water was so thick with them that there was no way to reach bottom without getting into one! Of course I managed to get the money shot this time!
The rascal took traditional cold bath LMAO! And one thing - for my money, fresh river fish split through the back and just salted on the grill taste phenomenal! Ask at participating McDonald's... LOL
