For you guys that own Crestliner fish hawk's, I am wondering what shaft length of trollong motor I need for a 1750. I am considering buying a minnkota 65 powerdrive(24v). It is going on the bow.

I've got a 54" on my Lund 1700 Angler SS. It is a good fit, and I've never had it blow out in the rough stuff when I wished I would have gone with the 60". If it gets that rough, I'm gonna get off the lake!

If you have room when the motor is "up" (not deployed) go with the 60" shaft.
Why go shorter, unless you have to?

T-Mac is right (there is always a first time, huh?? ... Just kidding T-Mac). I have a Pike 18 and I use the full length of my 60" shaft all the time. That 1750 is a nice rig ... a friend of mine has one ... and he has a 54" on his and wishes it was 60" when we are on Lake of the Woods in whitecaps. You can always have it cut shorter by a service center if you don't like the extra 6.
