| For you guys that own Crestliner fish hawk's, I am wondering what shaft length of trollong motor I need for a 1750. I am considering buying a minnkota 65 powerdrive(24v). It is going on the bow.
Thanks,

| I've got a 54" on my Lund 1700 Angler SS. It is a good fit, and I've never had it blow out in the rough stuff when I wished I would have gone with the 60". If it gets that rough, I'm gonna get off the lake! |

| If you have room when the motor is "up" (not deployed) go with the 60" shaft.
Why go shorter, unless you have to? |

| T-Mac is right (there is always a first time, huh?? ... Just kidding T-Mac). I have a Pike 18 and I use the full length of my 60" shaft all the time. That 1750 is a nice rig ... a friend of mine has one ... and he has a 54" on his and wishes it was 60" when we are on Lake of the Woods in whitecaps. You can always have it cut shorter by a service center if you don't like the extra 6. |
