Hi Everybody, Sorry that I haven't been around for awhile. I changed from AOL to Earthlink and a spyware virus attached itself to my earthlink account and wouldn't let me get on line. I think it's fixed now. Hope that I haven't missed much.

Bo-BO.

I just sent you an e-mail last night. Waiting to hear what the damage is going to be on my Panther Mount and 8horse High Torque Yamaha. Also shot your buddy from Guides Plus a decent order to gear up for my new TR-1 experience. Hear from you soon?

Bo, glad you're back. I hate it when my 'puter sneezes!! Hey, try uploading Ad Aware by Lavasoft, it's free, and removes Spyware quickly and easily.

If you have earthlink total access 2004 it has a spyware program as part of the software that removes spyware..also they have a spyware scan you can do if you don't have total access2004: http://www.earthlink.net/spyaudit/

Kevin, The anti-spyware that earthlink has was not good enough to stop the spyware that came across from AOL. It attached itself to everything. But Earthlink helped straighten it out. Thanks anyway.

It was worth a shot as a suggestion.. Hopefully I don't catch that one or at least my Norton stops it if I do...

Kevin, I, also, have Norton and ran a complete scan and it detected no infected files. Go figure. I had a real mess and I'm real upset with AOL. Because I was no longer a customer, they refused to help and it was their spyware that attached itself to my earthlink files. Unbelievable.

we've all been through it, not fun. The Ad-Aware is a great product and not just because it's free, it really works well. Saved ourselves several times already.
The boat is almost ready and looking forward to seeing you soon, Marty

Just an FYI; Viruses, worms and spy ware are three different things, and there are different means to preventing each from entering your system. The norton scan should not detect spy ware as it is designed to stop viruses. The adaware is a program designed to stop spy ware, and the good old "Windows Update" is designed to stop worms. Hope this helps.
