Location: YouTube.com/LyubakaVideo Instagram @LyubakaVideo | Hi, all! I ran down to the powerhouse side sandy beach @ the Dells last night to meet with my good friend Rich and his sidekick Howie. Why do I not keep my camera just ready for "The Draw"!? I stop right in front of the deep passage and greet 2 guys trying for the Eyes on the bottom - sitting in picknick chairs and sipping beverages ~ happy campers as they come! They "just came" so no results as of yet... I start casting a finesse tail under a bobber to look for anything to beach. Had a few pseudi-takes and am looking over my shoulder at the leftmost dude trying to stickdown an improvized branch-rod-stand - I recast and the moment my bait hits the water... I hear a CRASH'n'SPLASH What do you know?! The guy's state-of-the-art "rod-stand" snapped in half and he plunged headfirst in the shin-deep 40degree water - in his case shoulder-deep LMAO. He took his time to recover from his ostrich number and when he unstuck his head from the sandy shallow he started lurching his bobblehead around like Scooby-Doo, as it turned out his glasses had fallen off and that added to the panic...
I almost bit my foot off to cut the laughter that was bursting in me! That is a KODAK moment LOL.
I missed that one but took a few shots of the guys who actually were catching something - smallish as it might have been...

Location: Milw, WI | Just missed seeing it myself.
was upstrem wishin for fish in to fast of current.
Got two small males that were spent down at the beach.
My bet is they are spawning with this full moon, and water temps.
Current slows an the males going on the feeding spree, should happen reel quick like. |
