| I just purchased a Bassmaster Promariner 10 amp, 2 bank charger. This charger has a feature to be able to set what type of batteries you are charging. My question is I purchased Optima batteries last year and love them for my 24 volt system, and want to know what to set the charger on. The first and second option are flooded (wet lead acid) and Gel, the third option they give is AGM? Not sure what this stands for? I thought the Optimas were dry batteries. I have the charger at this time set on AGM. Help if you know what that stands for. As far as the Optima batteries go, never had a battery take a charge so fast before.
Thanks! Shadman |

| I think you picked an awesome unit. I also have this one, installed last year and has worked flawlessly. The way it only charges the battery that needs juice is great, There may be others out there with similar characteristics but not for the price, I think I paid around $100.00 for the 3-bank. So far it has paid for itself as I have not dun out of power since I installed it! NOW THAT'S WORTH IT.
Good Luck

ProTournament's "Distributed On-Demand Charging" will automatically distribute its full rated output of 10, 15 or 30 amps (model specific) to any one bank or combination of all battery banks. ProTournament distributes and uses every charging amp with no waste unlike other 2 and 3 bank chargers with an amp limit per bank. |
