Member Posts: 526 Location: blue mounds, wisc | i have a 2000 tundra limited . i have racked up over 100,000 miles on her allready. pulling my boat around the country walleye fishing. i have averaged around 13-17 miles per gallon while towing. plenty of power to easily make it up the long mississippi river bluffs. i have owned a new dodge , chevy , and gmc and the tundra is by far the better of them all. i will drive my toyota until she gets tired. at that point it will be traded for a new one, probably when it gets 300,000 miles behind us...

Member Posts: 51 Location: Eau Claire, WI | How big of a boat are you pulling??? Iam looking at the Tundra, but my total rig weight is about 3,700#, and I'm leary as to it's towing ability, even though the dealer says no problem....

Member Posts: 3899 | I know of someone who pulls a 620 with his Tundra. He's had no problems, other than me teasing him about driving a TOY! All in fun, it's a pretty decent truck.

Member Posts: 31 | Risor, I have a Tundra and pull a Ranger 617. Great vehicle. No problems. I think you're getting a decent price. I've spoke to you via on another site about Gogebic. Larry, I met you up in Houghton last year at Eric's place. Saw your Tundra up there. Good luck in tourney's this year. Edited by Big Sky 4/14/2004 11:02 PM

Member Posts: 31 | Unfortunately we never made it up this year. One thing or another hindered a trip for our group. It's still in the cards for next year. Fun place to fish even if tough.
