Gentlemen, I'm excited.

And it isn't many things anymore that gets me that way. But I still posses that (Kid Like)Christmas Morning feeling, when I hear or see some fishing related news or products coming out that I personally perseve as being a winner.

Dave's Ka'Boom Lures has brought together the newest rave in the fishing industry and attached them to his new Nitro Shiner. That is, the Red molded Bill and Red Hook craze. And he has called them Ruby Reds.

And now I get news yesterday, that he's fallowing up on this new idea with Rudy Red Winning Streaks as well. With my Saginaw Bay walleyes prefering the smaller crankbait versions these last few years since the water clarity has improved, the Ruby Red Winning Streak idea gets a score of "10" on my fishing score card, sight unseen.

I'm posting a picture of the Ruby Red Nitro's and will do the same soon when I get the pictures of Winning Streaks.

Received a few Ruby Reds the other day. They'll be the hot ticket this year for me guaranteed. Any one who used dj's in the past will over these.

Nice!!! Are those bills painted or actual red plastic? If not, sure would be a good innovation for Dave to think about.

Question for you Dan. Does the Hollingsworth or Hollingsway Reservior ring a bell(not sure of the name)? My Father in law spotted what he said looked to be an awesome string of rivers and lakes up your way from the chopper. If it does.... any good fishing and access points?

Terror.

The bills are not painted but are a transparent red plastic molded into the body itself. The new Winning Streaks will have the same custom bill and hooks as the Rubys do.

And the Lake your talking about is called Holloway Reservoir. And there are indeed pleanty of walleyes, pike and crappies in it. #5 Wally Divers (Perch and /Black Back/Gold) has been the proven crank of choice for the last few years. And trolling right now has been the best time to connect.

That's great. I'm no fan of painted bills. I might just acquire several, when available.

Thanks for the reservior info!

No problem Terror.

The river your dad must have seen is the Flint. This had many other feeder stream that connected to it above where they put the Holloway Dam on the Flint. If your planning to go there, call the (Fishing Tackle Grab Bag) bait shop near Davidson and ask about the water levels and the fishing.
