I fished the Green Bay MWS with Sunshine yesterday. We had a pretty good day, weighing 3 fish for 16 lbs, and took 8th place. Our biggest fish was 8.1 lb, 3rd biggest of the day. We did toss back a 17 early in the day, but based on prefishing, we figure we'd get a few more bigger fish to wade through. Not the csae as we only caught 2 more after that. We did miss 3 fish. Congrats to Bill Lodi and John Scholz for the win with 4 fish for 24.3 lbs.

With a SE wind, it made for a difficult day. Boat control was difficult at best, as it was difficult to run on the break. Lots of short runs were the order of the day. The wind really kicked up around 1 PM, and we pulled the plug a little early to make sure we got back in time. Took one more short pass on the Frying Pan, but the waves were really building then, so we called it.

Had a lot of fun this weekend. Prefished Saturday with RangerPat, and caught a few nice fish. Saw Wolf Walleye and sons up by the Oconto landing, and they had a pretty good day. I'll post some pics of them later. Special Thanks to RangerPat's wife Christy, for putting up with me this weekend. That lunch you put together for me hit the spot Sunday. Thank you so much. I'm still trying to figure out the results of your prayer! LOL
