The weather cooperated nicely with temps in the 70's and partly sunny skies as a full field hit the water. Three fish were allowed for each team at the scales. All walleyes had to be over 15".

Krumenaur and Hafemeister weighed 8.73# early to take the lead, and held that position for the win. Walter and Neuendorf weighed 7.43# for second, Ordway and Scaida weighed 7# even for third, and Big Fish winners Gahan and Gahan took fourth. Payouts were $500 first, $250 second, $150 third, and $100 fourth. The big fish pot was $170. The Light Weight Award, a very nice box of jigs donated by Richfish (thanks, sir!), was taken by Ruffalo and Kunda with one fish at .97#

The weigh in was operated by Steve Poll of the World Walleye Association. Thanks, sir!!

The after-the-weigh-in meal and soda were sponsored by Tuffy Boats and Mr. Marine. Bob brought a new 1760 Osprey for display.

All in all everyone had a great time. I will have an album up for the event soon. Here are a couple shots from the weigh in!

Great event and nice weather too! It was nice meeting folks and making new friends. Thanks again BD for inviting a stranger along. Although the catching wasn't great the fishing and the company were.

I'd like to take the time on behalf of Lumpy and myself,to thank all the people who worked, and fished the tournament.I wish I could have met and talked to more of you guys, in person.Perhaps next year we can do an intro,of who every one is? It sure was a nice day on the water Sunday, with some calm water, and no rain, for a change.Sure could have used a cold brew after the sunburn though! We will have to work on that OK?The food was good, and my thanks to Bob from Mr. Marine.Every one helped make our win more special, and we really appreciated it.Like they say guys "Even a BLIND DOG finds a bone occasionally".......Hafe

Hafe, Congrats on the win! It was a great time. Larry, had I not steered us to the wrong park we would have been able to take off with everyone, Although had we taken off with everyone we may have ripped more than one 3 pounder as the first one came early. I think I may have convinced you to spend 7 bucks on baits as that one caught quite a few fish Sunday, don't ya think! It was great to meet you and I really enjoyed the company, hope we can do it again. Thanks go to everyone that put on the event and I think the "tell all" from the winners was a great idea. Do we have to wait a whole year to do it again?
Good Luck

I'd second Hafe's suggestion to have an introduction. I was able to put some names with faces but would've liked to have met more

Next year I will set up name tags for everyone with the board names from WalleyeFIRST and actual real name, too. I should have thought of that this year, thanks for the idea, Hafe!

I had a good time, too, even though I didn't compete. Was good to meet a few new guys, and see some old guys. I told you all the weather would be good this year! What a great day. Did get out for a bit with RangerPat and Trautman. Always an adventure when those 2 are in the same boat!

Congrats to Hafe and Lumpy on the win, and to Jerry for the smallest fish! hehehe

Steve, you are welcome for the prize.

Hope Jerry is happy with them.

Now jerry just has to learn how to stop trolling and jig.

Ya, webname tags would be cool.

Next year I hope to fish it, if all my guys are not it the other one( MWC)
as it happened this year.

Rick Z. got a 13th place finish with a day 2 come back from 1 fish on day one.
