| I have been fishing Winnebago and the surrounding lakes my entire life. My partner and I were discussing, last Sunday, what we thought the biggest walleye swimming in these waters may be. Later on in the day we letting out the last board, and on the way out it went down like a small bobber. My partner had the fish on for a couple of seconds before the new line broke. May have been a sturgeon-would like to think it was nice walleye. Anyway-What do you think is the biggest pike in the pond these days? |

Location: Appleton wi | No question about it there are 30" plus walleyes in the system! As far as the weight ewell that depends on what time of the year you catch it! |

Location: Germantown and Land O Lakes, WI | I jigged up a 30" off of a reef due east of the river about 3 years ago. It was mid-summer and I doubt that thing was 8.5 lbs. Time of year has everything to do with it. |

| I don't know the answer regarding big walleyes but I've had fish submerge boaards twice this year. Both time we netted cats in excess of twenty pounds. Both times on DLRs 20' back. Both times 2 miles NW of Pipe over 18 fow. They were disappointments but one knows, after a couple of minutes, this ain't no walleye! I,ve caught several cats in that area over the last couple of years. |
