Location: Gladstone, Michigan 49837 | Hoping everyone had an eventful 4th. The rains were coming in and out through the day and showed some authority even when the fireworks started in the evening here in Gladstone. The Cold Front also came in telling us just how fast the weather can change with over-nite and morning temps. this morning in the middle 40's.
Really didn't hear of any current fishing happening throughout the Bays waters as with the Holiday 4th. just the day with the family!
Back on the water later today, good luck and have fun to everyone.
As always our goals in all of our fishing trips as well reports is that "personalized" service of working with anglers, teaching and showing them methods of fishing all fish species as well sharing local information on the Bays.
Here's a run-down of fishing ideas you might try in the upcoming days on the water. The weedbeds are coming up nicely holding some good eye's, especially if warming weather continues these fish will hold here for the food, cover and abundant oxygen the fresh weeds will give off.
Last check and water surface temps. were running 69' to 71'.
