Member Posts: 40 Location: Monona, WI | Hey Trap, Nice job! Putting a 9# bag together Staurday wa no small feat considering how hard it was to keep the dinks off our lines. I enjoyed talking with you at the ramp Saturday after the tournament. Looks like I just missed this year, but I may find some time to get up to LBDN anyway. If I can help you out, let me know. Good luck in September! Tim D.

That is going to be a fun tourney! Wish I was going. I'm feeling a little bad for Chad Wiskow today, as he finished in 26th overall, just missing the Finals. He was in good shape going in this weekend, and figured he just needed to just weigh a couple fish to make the finals. I know he tried hard to get me some bigger fish to get me up there, and we tossed a few 14+ inchers trying for those fish. Plus, we had one go belly up in the harbor while waiting for 45 minutes to weigh in. That one fish cost us a few places, and that would have made the difference for him. Here's hoping that some boater decides not to go, and he gets in.

Very good job Trap. If you need a partner for pre-fishing, I would be happy to entertain an invite.:-)

Thanks Shep! I weighed a limit on Sat, but still fell from 10 to 22! Whew...Just squeaked in. I had three great draws this season and hope to pull a good draw at LBDN. Congrats to all that made it and be safe. Any truth to the rumor that Mike D made his co-angler swim ashore? ![]()

Member Posts: 363 Location: Kaukauna WI | Lund Dude Yes Craig lost his footing when leaving the boat and climbing onto the dock and in result fell into the water. It scared me to death for I first wish no one pain or injury. I have talked to Craig yesterday via phone tag and he is okay just a little sore. Member Posts: 103 Location: Collins, WI | Thanks guys, I felt going into the day that I would need 8 lbs. to make it to the finals. The first fish of the day was a 14.5 then a 17.5. Off to spot B, we had a 14.5 and a skinny 14 that went back. We popped a 22 incher for our fourth fish and then another 14.5 incher that sat on the board for a minute then went in the well.Wth a limit knowing we had 2 decent fish I felt I had 8.5lbs. If that doesn't get me in I don't deserve to go I thought. Then 2 hours went by without even a drum. I told my partner that's why we keep fish when we catch them. We had about 40 minutes left when we got a fat 15.5 incher that went in the well. Came in with 6 and got the balance beam out. I managed to keep them alive and didn't loose any weight. It worked out O.K. for me even though we lost a big one that would have given me a check. Looking forward to the Finals at Little Bay.
