The BIG walleyes were definitely in the weeds the whole trip. There was a group up with us at the MuskieFIRST outing fishing eyes exclusively, and the reefs and points produced fish in the 15" to 22" class. I had several at 24" on shallow breaklines, but the big fish were definitely in the weeds. Hard to fish them because the Pike are so thick!

We will be going to the Goon again next year, and will be doing a combo trip for WalleyeFIRST and MuskieFIRST. We get the best deal we can on cabins and amenities, have a few prizes to give away, and generally have a great time. Walleyes like these are plentiful there, so I would like to get a few boats fishing them seriously and find those pigs.

Thanks for the advice, I followed it, and caught fish!
