| I am invited on a trip next week to Lac Des Millacs in NW Ontario. Does anyone know anything about the fishing on this lake. Father in-law has been fishing it for 20+ years and swears its the best fishing in NW Ont. I'm skeptical. Also it would be nice to show the in-law. |

WALLEYE FACTORY.
I fished the lake about 6-7 years ago, rephrase that, part of the lake. I was out of the Savanhae (sp?) River. 100 fish days are not that tough with a very good shot at some real hogs. The only thing that would make me skeptical of returning is all the boulder hazards, especially towards the east end. Some perch can be found in isolated spots, and there is plenty of token pike.
Good luck |

| Thanks for the info.
What time of the year did you fish it? |

| One more question. What side/area of the lake were you on? |

| We were on the far north east end. Savannae River. We travel as far down to hook island and west a little past I beleive popular point. And we caught walleyes any and everywhere we went.
Once we got down to Hook island we found deeper water...the farther west you get the more deeper water is available. Suppose to be some good muskies in the system.
It's a very big body of water and very beautiful with many islands. |
