Any guesses on how much weight will win this one? What is the bite like out there?

Jim C. How many boats as of right now?

It is at Menomonee park in Oshkosh at 6 on Friday. I am not sure when the deadline is to get in. I think there is a late fee to get in, but it is resonable.

I think 35 lbs. will be needed to win. Been getting some decent fish lately but not a bunch of them grouped together. The bite does seem to be holding together better than most years.

Jayman I think you have the right idea! I was gonna say 25 but what the heck 22.5 sounds more realistic, Unless of course they are going to be running to New London, then 31pounds might win it! P.S. You ready for a vacation day anytime soon?
Good Luck

It would be a long run to new london, especially with the long no wakes all the way up and down the river. Wouldn't give a guy more than an hour or two to effectively fish so you better have them dialed in to do that. I haven't heard anything about a bite like that. Report I heard is the river has been kind of tough with some smaller fish being caught.

This tourney will be decided on lake winnebago in the mud. the bite is still good out there.

Fleet Farm id Bago only so the New London run is not possible. Traditionally the mud bite dies right before the F/F. This may not happen because of the cool weather this year. I'd hate to have to put a winning weight together on most reefs by having to get through the hungry 13-14 inchers first.

No one will get 30 pounds and the winning weight will be........ (drom roll please).........

23.4 pounds

Fleet Farm is the entire Winnebago system.

I think someone will get 30 lbs.

FF Tourney is the entire Winny system - $310 is the Team Fee and a late fee of $25 is tagged to it if you didn't get your entry form postmarked by last Saturday the 31st. I know that there are 134 boats because that's our boat number. As far as weight goes - if the weatherknobs are correct, and temps at night continue to decrease I would make a guess of about 26lbs for both days combined.

Good luck to all fishing it!

You must really hate a lot, Dennis! hehehe

My guess is that somebody will find 16-17 lbs each day. Just not the same somebody both days.

My guess is 22.5 lbs will take it. And that is if we have good weather. All bet's are off if there is a strong east wind!

Good luck to all WFer's!! I hope you will prove me wrong.

Gonna get tougher with them cold nights. I would have guessed higher earlier but those mid 20 guesses sound real good to me with the cold and wind that we have had out on the big lake.

Not me Tyee....I'm not in this one. I vowed a few years ago when it was near or over 100 degrees that I'd never fish this event again....and I haven't. Plus, I'm having too good of a time catching fish on the Bay right now.
