Member Posts: 540 Location: Milw, WI | It is from a friend in Oregon. Though I would share to get some life on here. Now as for big cats here. Eye witness to them near the Dells all the time during gun deer,....... they were Bobcats and Linx. Well seen those there all the time, plus some got in the traps. These were much, much larger, with paw prints as large as a hand, aways single and with a roar/growl that is unmistakable. Made your hair stand up, and skin tingle when in the same valley as you. DNR knows they are are here, till they have a carcass they will still denie it. Then they will say it came from a game farm, might not be so far from the truth. Closer to home there are a pair that show up all the time on the north side of Phantom lake. Buddy has photos, and I have seen the tracks. Pets gotten loose is the thoughts on that pair. My buddy thought I lost it one time because I saw a Kangaroo in the local park, but guess it was missimg from the Zoo. Also one wolf got out many times in the park and to the city streets, from our Zoo. Once fed him a hot dog chunk and then the keepers came and chased him away. Trying to catch him. Wisconsin(well not down here)is a paradise for the animals. And I for one hope it stays that way. Edited by Richfish 9/2/2004 12:16 PM | ||
