Where are you headed to hit the wtaer this weekend with the extra day off? Sue and I are staying local, hitting Oneida County local waters.

I've got some time off this weekend and next week, so I think I'll chase some Winnebago walleye, maybe a meal of perch.

I'm dealing with a broken ankle right now, so fishing is pretty much out of the picture, BUT...I can walk on my crutches to a goose blind in a freshly picked oat field for the Minnesota early goose season!! Don't know for sure if I can make it, but am going to try. Last report was that there are about 50-60 feeding in the field this morning!

Prefishing Oneida lake in NY. Our (KAWA) championship tournament is the 11th and 12th and my partner and I would really like to pull this one off.

Eagle River chain-Perch and walleye for the Sunday family fish fry. Search for those toothy critters after getting the table fare. Hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable weekend.
