Not true. Most of the big bags came from Chamber's Island which is in Wisconsin. The entire Green Bay was open to the competitors.

Jerry:
I thought you fished the pwt? The whole bay was not open to the competitors.

For the RCL it was.

Many competitors have many friends on varies circles of events why is this hard to imagine. Is it not important for Jerry to look at rules of tourney that he fished in the primary rounds of and possible could fished the championship in?

?? May I ask why you don’t use your own name on here or you wishing to stir up something? I wish for one to say thank you to Jerry for answering question when the need to be answered he straight forward and willing to post here with answer and doesn’t need to be asked stupid questions here.

?? if you wish to talk to me I post my name and email addy so contact me and I discus matters I can give answers on in a honest and knowledgeable way.

?? you must be the same guy as just curious, now your ripping on Jerry. The entire bay was open for the RCL but not for the PWT. Jerry fishes more than just the PWT, not that he needs me to stick up for him.

Scott, I would have gone at the last minute also if I would have my boat and would have gotten the call. I qualified for the Championship in Moline but won't be able to make it so who ever has to fill in my spot will probably get ripped on as well.

Boy that would be terrible to have to fish with a non-qualifier. I'd have hated to fish with a non qualifier if I had been a co-angler. Especially that Tiemenn guy! I mean, c'mon. He was like 45th in WI, 54th in SD, and makes the championship? I guess it would have been real bad luck for those two poor guys that got stuck with him the first and second day. Oh, wait, he was leading after day 2, and put both those guys in great position!!!!!!!!!!

?? and curious, don't rip on the guys who showed up, rip on the guys who didn't! ALso, ??, your IQ is showing. Quit while you're behind.

I guess the RCL should change the qualifications for the league championship. You need to finish in the top 25 in your division. If you don't, just show up at the rules meeting for the championship and then you can be in.

Isn't this basically what happened? I just can't see how that is fair to the other competitors.

My bad, folks. I thought ?? was saying that the RCL couldn't fish the Wisconsin side. I re-read his earlier questions and statements and I see the confusion.

The PWT was restricted to Michigan waters while the RCL Walleye League was open to all waters reachable by boat.

Sorry for the confusion. I'm leaving for Houghton now......see ya!!!

Good luck in Houghton Jerry!

Hope you remembered the snowmobile suit and the sunblossom heater for the mornings!

?? and Still Curious if you could read and understand the concept of the RCL League format you know that this is a event that is set up to be for first the weekend angler not the touring professional.

I would personally bet if you were one of the top 30 in league standing and 5 above you could not go then you were called by the FLW RCL league office you be their in flash.

With that said I now ask you to put you’re self in co angler’s position that took off work and traveled 250 to 800 miles as mine did this last event. Are you enough of person to tell them they could not fish even thou we have a guy here who did the following.

Came to meeting or was called last minute and agreed to show up and assist
Fished qualifying events but didn’t place high enough for early guarantee of entry
Has equipment that will allow safe and great day on water.
In some cases the Co Anglers have taught me varias points of angling as did the Pros did when I was a Co Angler myself. This as allowed me to learn more of sport of fishing and give a outlook of it in this way first as a busness then and most of FUN why of life.

?? if you have a beef please air it out but event is over and allot of people had fun so don’t water down a situation that can not be changed.

I understand in perfect world that people are people and hide for their own reasons but no one is attacking any one here. If you want changes I ask you to be upfront and honest on whom you are for life is short and if you use a fake name are you just as fake of a person? I respect your thoughts but this is not life or death here so respect other posters and use your correct handle.
