Location: Gladstone, Michigan 49837 | a brief storm has passed across the Bay as writing this report and winds are to switch from the northwest kicking up winds from 15 to 25 mph. Over night lows to dip into the mid 30' to 40' range with warming daytime temps. in the middle to upper 50's and lower 60's.
Fishing has been average the past couple days with some fair to good reports of catches of Walleye. Best catches seem to be coming from the upper Bay reefs, concentrating on waters from 30 to 5 feet of water. Water temps. have stabled into the middle to upper 50's.
Noticing large schools of baitfish on the electronics,
Night time anglers are seeing some action working the upper flats as well both long-lining minnow style baits as well casting.
Keep those lights on at night letting everyone know where you are.
Keep in touch, we'll report our trip tomorrow,
Here's a photo of a night-eye on the Bay that came in early November of last year, lot's more where that came from too,
