BIG BUMMER

Winnebago Super Tournament is the same date as the Midwest Walleye Series tournament on Green Bay. Unless someone changes their date, some very hard decisions will have to be made.

I see many of the same people who do both of these tournament series.

A real bummer!!

Bummer on the Conflict, but there is an out. If one doesn't qualify for day 2 on the FLW, that leaves the MWS open for them. Now, not sure what happens if you qualify, but then don't fish day 2? Would suck to be that co-angler.

The petenwell event conflicts with detroit river/erie event for MWC. Assuming many of the Central division "challengers" fish that event as thier 4th event for the challenge.

Could leave the FLW League wide open.

Minnesota Div. is fishing Sat. of Memorial weekend on Mille Lacs!!!

It's already "Bumper Boat City" that weekend without the tourny!!

I guess I'll only take smallie trips that weekend, and not deal with the madness.

If I read it right the June 4th and June 5th dates really do not conflict. You could be prefishing for one tournament while fishing for the other one. I have done this before and love the concept. The determining factor would be "Where" take off is for each tournament BUT it is doable if both tournaments have no boundaries. I don't recall either of these tournaments having boundaries in the past.

Catching fish seems to be alot easier than trying to arrange time for everything going on during those tourny months and throw in some coaching baseball and 2 boys playin and family vacations its crazy! The second weekand of july has been father /son retreat since my kids were 3y.o and last year for the first time in 6 years i had to miss the retreat so i was really hoping for a different july date.I wonder how other married guys with kids find time to fish more than 6 tourny's a year and keep everyone happy! Thank god for my wonderfull supportive wife!

Wait until the WWA comes out. They always had two 1 day events the week prior to the Merc Nationals. They also had an event close to the same time as the May 1 MWS event. I think it was usually the week prior. 2005 sounds very busy. Trying to decide which series and/or events to fish is a tough call.

The GB tourney is the same weekend as the Sturgeon Bay Open Bass Tournament. I always fish that for fun. And it's the weekend before the Tour event, so there will be a ton of boats on the water.

The GB League event is also on the day of the Fox River Classic. That will put 40-50 boats in the river and out to Point Sable and Long Tail Point. Include prefishing for the tour event and the Sturgeon Bay Bass Open there will be a lot of boats out there. Its a good thing its a big bay!
