Location: upper michigan | there was a comment about the accuracy of the sks i just wanted to point out that my buddy has an sks and i have been able to consistently hit a gallon jug at over 250 yards with open sites so i do believe they are as accurate as any gun made

There were some higher grade one sold that were much better than the cheap models.
My point was that the description of it being a "assult rifle", was not that accurate.
They can be out fitted to look like one.
But they are not an ak-47, m-16's , mac 10's, or ar-15s............ect.
Which all can drop a deer with the proper ammo, real well.
