Location: Rhinelander | Looked at the E-Tec, it looks really good. Warranty is exceptional, and the company is confident enough in the technology they feel it will eventually be recognised as one of the best outboards ever built. |

| All things being equal I think I'm gonna go with the E-Tec based primarily on the 7 year warranty. Also, stats are saying that the E-Tec gets 40% better fuel economy than the HPDI (sounds a little optimistic). I'm 99% sure I'm going with the E-TEC, I haven't heard any nightmare stories yet.

Location: Rhinelander | Rob,
I think you will be happy; talked to the OEM rep today, and he recommended the 225HO, which he said is one HOT motor. |

Location: Westland, MI. | Steve, 225 HO would be an awesome motor but, unfortunately, cannot be had for this year. Production is all spoken for according to boat manufacturer. |
