| I was having a discussion with a friend the other day on the pro's/con's of folding nets.
Me being a musky guy I have a net big enough to snatch a wayward Volkswagon Beetle off the turnpike with one quick swoop..:) Folding for storage purposes might be a nice feature, but I like my net in the "ready to use" position at all times.
So I thought I would ask over here what the walleye guys thoughts are.
When would you have it folded? While you were fishing, then open it up when you need it, or just for storage?
Is this a feature that would be important to you in your next purchase?
Thanks,
Mark

| Personally, I can see the benefit of a folding net for storage and nothing more. When fishing I like my net in the ready position. Futhermore, since I fish a number of tourneys.....the last thing I want to cause me missing out is a net that could fail me. More mechanical movment will eventully lead to more mechanical failures.
Funny story about nets.....but I'll let Carrocr tell that one |

Location: Otterlake MI | i use a folding net but it stays open when i'm fishing and i fold it to store it gives the boat a better look in my opinon when you come in to the scales and spectators are watching and they see a clen boat with every thing put away and no mess on the floor |
