Can anyone tell me how much fireline it takes to get the reef runner to run to 30' of water ?

Thanks

I can give you a formula, that I worked out a couple years ago.For fireline,or power pro,use TWO-THIRDS the amount of line, that the trolling book says for 10lb. trilene. If the bait goes to 30 feet with 150 feet out, then use 100 feet of super lines.

boogie,

It depends on what diameter Fireline you are using. On 10# mono RR will run to 30' with 200' lineout. 6/14 Fireline runs about 15% deeper so it should be about 170'. in my experience at longer leads thinner diameter lines gain more than 15% depth.
