| With the warm temps and rain coming this week, the ice should be gone by the weekend. It's broken up pretty good right now, all we need is some nice warm rain and a good north wind. Had a 5 ft. ice shove on my shoreline Friday. It's ready to go. |

Location: Menasha, WI | I'm guessing April 7th I made a recon mission on my way to work this morning - the lake is 90% ice free. There are pockets of slush, particularly where the north wind has pushed it into the south ends of the bays -- Mansur, Cowling and Asylum have all collected slush. There is a good breeze out today and it loks like rain so what is left proabbly won't be for long. |
