Location: Glenwood,Mn. | Yes you can. You need to have a Lowrance MMC card reader. Go to Lowrance's web site and download a product emulator. I have the 3500c as that is the unit on my boat. Start the emulator and plug the Navionics chip in your card reader. Then go to the menu on the emulator and select the Navionics chip just like you would on the real thing. Put crosshairs on the screen and navigate to whatever lake you choose. Works great. Just remember not to try formatting the chip or loading any info on it or you will erase the Navionics info. This only works with the Lowrance reader. Don't know why. I've tried others. it also works with my Lakemaster chip. Just remember the emulator works the same as the real thing. You have to use your cursor to push the buttons on the emulator. |
