While trolling yesterday we made a pass east of Steven's Reef and made a turn to the west at the buoy. What a surprise!!!!! We were in shallow water where there should have been 18'. I looked at my GPS map and the buoy is way off the mark from where it is traditionally located. My best guess is it's about 100 yds. SSW of where it should be. I didn't punch in a waypoint and do any calculating because we were scrambling to turn out without losing any baits. I'll check it next time out. Radtke does a pretty good job of placing buoys on the system but I think they dropped the ball at Steven's.

I don't know it they put the buoy's in at Columbia park too, but they were are off too. Someone put a big red ball beyond the two green cans because the green cans are in too close and that nice little 2-3 foot rock pile is right in the way if you are use to taking a sharp right as you clear the second green can as you leave the harbor.
