| I have a 2005 9.9 four stroke, that trolls at slow speeds for about 15-20 minutes and then it dies. It restarts easily, and at slow troll speed, it will run for about 10 minutes, and then dies again.
It appears that the engine draws the gas out of the bulb and dies.
Is anyone else having this problem? I have had it to two mechanics and they have not figured it out yet.
Thanks

Location: Northern Illinois | Agree with shep.........replace the bulb and while your at it, maybe the hoses as well. Do the bulb for sure. It is exactly what cured a past problem of mine. |

Location: Fremont, Wisconsin | Did you take it to the dealer who sold it to you? Or did you rig it yourself? The bulb would surprise me to say the least. Do you need to pump up the bulb when you restart? How did you hook it up to a fuel supply? |

Location: Northern Illinois | I always look for a simple explanation first. Relacing a bulb on the fuel line, or the fuel line AND bulb, from motor to fuel tank is easy, and very inexpensive. Bulbs do go bad, crack, get an air leak etc. Failing that, ya go back to the dealer as you should be under warranty. |

| Thanks for the help, I will replace the bulb and see if that does the trick. I had it to the dealer that rigged it, and then I moved about a thousand miles south and tried another dealer.
If the bulb doesn't do the trick, I will be going back to the dealer down here in Arkansas.
Thanks again.
