Rich,

Stay home.... I don't know of anyone catching fish on Bago over the last few days.... I have talked to a bunch of really good fisherman over the last 2 days and everyone is comming off the lake with an empty livewell... unless you want to keep sheephead.... We are all scratching our heads because we were all catching fish on Sunday... and then on Monday everything shut down....

I'll be out on Thursday and Friday trolling in the mud, I'll post if I hear of anyone catching fish.

Thanks for boosting my ego Purple Skeeter It is not often that I catch fish when nobody else is I was out yesterday and picked up a few jigging west shore reefs. All 'eyes came on a jig and a leech. Nothing but sheeps drifting harnesses. Sure is nice to be on the lake during the week rather than fighting the crowds on the weekends.

Good for you.... That was my choice to start out on Thursday.... I was thinking that with the strong southwest wind, I'd try long linning the reefs from Menasha to Garlic. I did that last week and had pretty good luck running # 7 shads in silver in 10 1/2 feet of water.

I just spoke with several of my buddies that are good fisherman and they blanked again today.... both on Poygan, Big Butt des Morts and Bago.

One of these days, I need to learn how to jig the reefs, I've had such good luck trolling for the last 10 years, I have never had to jig... other that early spring on the wolf and an occasional jig & leach in the Cain beds on Poygan.

If anyone has tried the Bay in Green Bay in the Last few days.... let me know how you did!

Good luck fishing... I'll post how I did

I was out tonight for a couple of hours off calumet cty park and got 4 eyes in short order and then it just died. All came on the white glass shad rap.#5 and 7 40-50 back.2 passes and that was it for the bite should have gotten out a little earlier. The wind did pick up a bit after we got the 4 fish.

Fished the west shore reef today to try and get out of the wind... started in Neenah and hit every reef south till I found fish... Ended up with 6 nice Walleyes including 4 over 20 and a 24. All released to be caught another day including 2 taged fish...

All caught on # 7 Shads in perch bumping bottom @ 2.1 mph (GPS) 10 1/2 feet of water

Good luck trying to fish anywhere this weekend.... I ran into several guys today (slip bobber fishing) that saw me boating fish, picked up their anchor and moved 100 feet right to where I just boated a double..... they were within 10 feet of my boat when they anchored.... just plain rude!!

I ran into a similar situation just south of Neenah during the mwc.Pulled up on a long shelf to pull boards and some yahoo pulls in front of me maybe 100yrds and starts putting his boards out.I already had 2 out and getting the third in and I look up and see him and his wife or girlfriend setting up.And of course I was pulling cranks and he was pulling harnesses. So I caught up to him pretty quick and had to swing out and come back around again.Man the nerve of some people.I kind of kept an eye on them and they never boated a fish.HA But neither did I though.Oh yah a couple of kitty cats.

Ok boys Quiney to stockbridge 17'/18' transition areas Bite isnt consistent and seems to go in spirts and stay on the fish you mark . When they feed it has a been a frenzy and then shuts off for a couple of hours. 3-10ft down spinners and cranks.
