Member Posts: 885 | Will someone please tell me why my report on the bay of Green Bay was removed... Did I give out too much information and someone got a little mad I was spoiling thier fun.... I though this site was to share information on fishing for guy's like me that are not tournament fisherman and don't mind sharing a few tips... Purple Skeeter

Purple you hit it right on the head. More than likely some tournament guy (or team)used your info or and probally caught fish using it and now they wanna keep it a secret and there buddies with the site admin. Intergity cannot be bought!

Member Posts: 2567 Location: Manitowoc, WI | Sorry guess, but your reply is totally inaccurate. It was accidentally removed by my son, as I am a moderator for the site and was logged in but left my computer. My son was looking at stuff and, in typical kid fashion, started selecting things and removed it. I will have it put back up as I do not want anyone to feel that their information is just for a privileged few. Thanks for identifying this and for your patience. Jerry

Member Posts: 885 | Had me worried a bit.... I'm off for the next 2 weeks and was planning on fishing and was worried I would have to keep looking over my shoulder for an errant crankbait thrown my way!! Thanks for the quick response and a few good laughs this morning !! I'll be on the bay on Monday and Tuesday, I'll let you know how I did. If anyone is interested in the details..... e-mail me. Member Posts: 3899 | PS, Now how are you going to be able to fish GB with any confidence? I mean, you don't have your post to read to let you know where and how to fish! hehehe I'll be on the Bay Monday afternoon Columbusing for Muskies! Or would that be spelled Columbussing? Member Posts: 2393 Location: Waukesha Wisconsin | Wish I had some good reports to give. The Bay spanked me pretty good during the GNWC. Never saw so many SMALL fish on the Bay, that's great for the future fishery but not good when you are doing a tournament. Interesting....... the water surface temp DROPPED 10 degrees from when I did the MWC to when I was there for the GNWC. I'd be willing to bet that those northern reefs will start popping soon but they were nonproductive when I was there. That's all I've got.......sorry.......wish I had more.

Thanks, Sunshine. What is up with the bay this year? Larsens reef, Monument, Horseshoe and Chambers, aren't producing any fish this year to speak of. Any ideas what is up? Usually by now the big fish would be going good, but we have not even marked too many in these areas.

Member Posts: 2393 Location: Waukesha Wisconsin | There is still way to much feed located in those areas. They will turn on when the alewife die off and the fish change their forage base.

Member Posts: 2567 Location: Manitowoc, WI | There are some fish being taken from the reefs but not like it should be by now. I'll be out there this weekend seeing if things have improved over the last two weeks.

Any reports from last weekend?? I'm thinking of heading up Sat. but only if conditions are right. I'm taking my 5yr old and don't want too much wind! I was hoping to hit Chambers, Monument etc. is it worth it?? This will only be my 2nd time here, last time in the GNWC and blanked, although had some nice fish prefishing!! THanks- Dennis
