I am organizing a Kids day for the 20 of August at Evergreen Campsite In Wild Rose WI.
The full details will be available very soon but some of things we are looking at doing are: casting contest, fishing contest, education, boat rides, food and drinks and lots of prizes. If you are available that day or would like to donate anything at all please get in contact with me on my cell at 920-810-4570. I will be working with the DNR and the Future Fisherman Foundation to help with gear and education materials. It looks as though we have a full campground and an estimation of 100 kids or more.

Also, for those who have kids, bring them by that day. Evergreen has an Excellent swimming beach and inground pool with a huge aquatic play area for the kids. There is a lot of fun things to do after fishing or you can just stay fishing!

More details will come as we finalize this.

Hope to see some of you there!

I want to thank everyone that helped out for this event and especially the sponsors as it was a huge success. After some heavy storms rolled in we thought it was going to be a bust. Ma Nature pulled through again for the kids and it was a beautiful day.

Kids mainly caught panfish and bass. Boats were on hand to give rides and many kids caught their first fish. Over 100 kids showed up with parents and for a first time event at this park and it went great.

Special thanks to Greg, the DNR, Mr. Bluegill for sponsoring, and so many others that helped out.
Good Luck
Tyee
