Location: Essexville, MI./Saginaw Bay. | Was actually going to hit the Saginaw River today with my charter clients because of the (ifi) weather report. But things looked calm this morning and with the promise of that (famous 1 foot or less) report, we changed our minds back to the Bay. Had an idea about starting out shallow so we set down in 17FOW just off the Nayonquin Point ledge. Had 4 rods set and bang a decent walleye hit the Pinconning Paralyzer 100 back. Re-set that rod and got the others almost set when Bang, another nice fish on the same rod. Holy crap I said, we're already doing better than my last 3 trips. Wulp, I should have shut up. We did catch 4 more walleyes and one sheepy. All went back. But all the signs again were pointing to a positive bite soon.
