The walleye bite has been what I would call sporadic at best. One day you can pick up a handful of decent eyes and the next day get your but kicked. We need some cooler water temps in my opinion to get these fish into their fall feeding mode. The bass bite has remaind strong all summer with good numbers of quality fish being put in the boat. The real story has been the fantastic panfish bite the last few weeks. I normally don't target panfish a whole lot but when the slab crappies and big gills are suicidal it's tough to leave them alone. Get out there and have at em.
