BENTON, Ky. – FLW Outdoors, the world’s premier fishing-tournament organization, has announced the schedule for its 2006 Wal-Mart FLW Walleye Tour – the most lucrative professional walleye trail in the country.

The FLW Walleye Tour season starts April 5-8 on the Detroit River in Trenton, Mich., followed by a tournament on the Mississippi River in Red Wing, Minn., May 3-6. Devils Lake in St. Michael, N.D., will host the third event June 7-10, and Green Bay in Green Bay, Wis., will host the final qualifier July 12-15. The FLW Walleye Tour Championship will be held Oct. 4-7 on Lake Oahe in Pierre, S.D.

Complete schedule details for the 2006 season, entry dates and purses will be announced soon.

June 17 – Lake Erie/Boles Harbor
Aug. 12-13 – Saginaw Bay/Hoyles Marina

April 29 – Mississippi River/Covill Park
May 20 – Lake Mille Lacs/Myr Mar Marina
June 24 – Cass Lake/Break On The Lake Resort
July 22-23 – Mississippi River/Covill Park

Wisconsin
April 22 – Petenwell Lake/Petenwell Park
June 03 – Wolf River Chain of Lakes/Winneconne Water Front Park

Interesting. At the League Finals, they announced the Wisconsin April 22 tournament would be at Bay City on the Mississippi River.

michigan looks like a fun schedule,not crazy about april 1 on the river weather plays to much of a factor. the last early tourny was postponed,to much ice flow.however if it can go it should be a big fish bite.
